Clogs. How much would you give up for a pair of clogs?

Clogs are back. Yes, THEY ARE BACK! I'm totally surprised to learn the fact that clogs resurfaced as a fashion trend. But yes, fortunately, in new forms and fun patterns. Heavy hitters Chanel and Louis Vuitton both sent models marching down the runway in updated versions of the wooden shoe rather than the teetering stilettos. Designs from contemporary collections such as Stuart Weitzman and No. 6 are editor picks for spring. I as well have started liking the new form of clogs and would give in as far as i can go to have one in my shoe rack :)

Fashion's Night Out

Here comes the second round of Fashion's Night Out. The event will kick off in France on September 7; with Britain and Korea on September 8; Australia, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain on September 9; India, Russia and the United States on September 10, China, Japan and Taiwan on September 11, with Greece and Turkey bringing the event to a close on September 16.
How many of you have given a thought about being there?
If nothing comes on my way, i'm surely attending this time, in India. I can't wait to meet them sophisticated fashionistas and hoping to meet a celebrity or two. Exciting. Heep heep HURRAY!!!!

Dramatic Ruffles

I don't deny the fact that these pictures are really really not good in any manner but i don't have any option for a superior one. Until and unless i make it big to the fashion industry which is highly doubtful as i'm a history student, you may have to bear with this kind of quality. Big thanks to Picasa photoshop and Do Not ask me who my photographer used to be! :D
In this post, i thought of showing my dramatic side with this short ruffled shirt which actually is not happening at all. You may not know that i do not have such kind of a fun-clowny personality which makes it hard for me to display such a character which is added by my bad acting skill :p
The pictures in which i tried hard to look dramatic are satisfactorily distressing which makes them hopelessly unsuitable to be posted here. Better luck next time :)

H&M Fall Winter 2010/2011

H&M is a pretty much widely known, liked and affordable fashion brand among many bloggers. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB (operating as H&M), is a Swedish clothing company, known for its fast fashion clothing offerings for women, men, teenagers and children. H & M Fall Winter 2010/2011 being launched day before yesterday has already been blogged by many well known bloggers including my all time favourite Andy Torres @StyleScrapbook. No mention has been made about this brand in this blog for which i wanted to do this featuring about their latest collection which i really really liked. This upcoming fall winter collection gives a detailed striped and zigzag knits whose colorful patterns evoke an optimistic, haute-hippie-by-way-of-Capri lifestyle. Along with many people whose's got a keen interest in the fashion industry, i personally feel that this H & M Fall Winter collection has a Missoni Fall 2010 touch and looks which reminded me of that collection as soon as i saw this H & M upcoming collection. I'm putting up some few selected looks from this fall winter collection which also are my favourite few. Tell me what you think!!

Project Number 1- Stone age

Here it is, my first summer break project. The stone age, like i call it, has alot of stone stuffs going on. I thought of stitching a plain white tee on my own for this, but i wasn't able to get the perfect white t-shirt material as i wanted and i'm just using this old Pimkie basic white tee which i have worn a couple of times. I'm hoping to show you all my own stitches in the later posts. As you can see, I stitched on those few decors which mostly are polished stones i got from Paharganj, Delhi to give a simple yet decorated look for a casual wear. All you need is a thread, needle, a pair of scissors and some decors according to your own taste and wish. Even though this work is as simple as an ABC, the basic idea for this creation is to make a different something to represent myself with my own creation which no one will ever have. Start working on your own DIY's, define yourself with your own creations and feel good about yourself without much effort in one way or the other. Thanks.

Almost there

I've been wanting to make this post since the day after i bought these items which is like five six days back while i was still in Delhi :D But as i was i to go home, i had so many things to do for which i wasn't able to fulfill that. As i've mentioned over and over again about the projects which i'm planning, i've started off on a small note buying few beads and stones. I'm showing them to give a clue of what i'll be doing and to see that the project which i was talking about's not gonna be put into a waste.

Also, i bought these two similar rings as i felt that they kinda look similar to those YSL's :p Love it or hate it, i really like the pair. In contrast to my likeness, i still haven't wore any outside. I tried to put on the orange one yesterday to a wedding reception but it didn't quite go well with my outfit so i chucked them again. Hope i'll make full use of them in the time to come :)
